So here’s the thing… I have a mini bag obsession. Wherever I go, whatever I do, I can’t help it, I HAVE TO HAVE A MINI BAG. It’s like the Prada to my Gucci. It’s the sun in my sky. It’s the rainbow that comes out after a rainy day. It’s everything. The smaller it is, the cuter it is. The bolder the colour, the bolder I feel. And when it has a gazillion pockets, it’s like, wow, my ovaries explode (in a good way). There’s something about a small bag that makes everything cuter: my outfit is cuter, I feel cuter, and my hand even looks cuter, because I have the perfect accessory to hold my essentials when I go out. It can hold my phone, my cute wallet (thank you Ted Baker, I love you), and of course the perfect lipstick and blush for those quick touch-ups on the go. There’s something about a small clutch used as an accessory to the layers of clothing that you wear that makes you look more put together, especially when you add those magical heels, chinos, and a large cozy wool coat for the fall. Marc Jacobs – Domo Cross Biker (Black)Sigh. I’ve been having a love/hate relationship when it comes to Marc Jacobs. And I don’t know why, exactly. It just happened to be that way; one day I would be like, “UGH, yas, I need this”, and there are other times where I’m just like, “WHYYYYYYYY ARE YOU SOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE?” But I have to give it to Marc, you know the way to my heart sometimes, especially with these cute teeny-tiny bags. rag & bone – Bradburry mini flap chain Hobo (Spicy Orange)This brand is like my Peanut Butter to my Jelly. I’m telling you, they know their leather, and they know their bags even more. This leather crossbody is the perfect size (obviously; it’s small) with a beautiful leathered chain strap to add a hint of sophistication to your look. This bright orange will spice up your style in a heartbeat!
Ted Baker – Hollie Loop bow leather tote bag (Pink)You guys! You don’t understand my obsession with Ted Baker. He’s my spirit animal. And this bag, is bedazzling, with the signature metallic bow at the front of the tote, makes it all the more beautiful. One of the reasons I love this bag, other than the pink with rose gold accessories, is the sheer wonderfully crafted design. It has a zippered pocket on the inside; it has a removable shoulder strap for when you want to hang loose and leather handles for when you mean business.
Auxiliary – Bega Satchel Bag – Militare Mix (product sold by Aritzia)Although this bag is a tad bigger than the previous mini bags, it does wonders for your everyday life. This perfect size allows you to fit your wallet, phone, lipsticks and blushes, and even an agenda or a tablet.
