Her Campus uOttawa's Favourite Drugstore Products

Posted -

Tara LeClair: E.L.F. Studio Illuminating Palette

“My favorite drugstore product is the E.L.F. Studio Illuminating Palette. With shimmering but subtle shades, this works well as a natural highlighter, complexion enhancer, and eyeshadow base. What attracted me the most is that it works well as a $6 dupe for the $70 Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette, which I also love.”

Daniella Bidin: Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express Mascara

“I have been using this religiously for years! It gives your lashes so much volume, without making them look too clumpy or feeling too heavy. It works really well with or without an eyelash curler. The brush is also curved which makes it easier to target specific lashes that you want to give more definition to without getting it all over your bottom lid.”

Alysha Sharma: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

"Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer! The application is amazing, and I love how soft it feels. Provides very good coverage and lasts long!”

Zoë D’Laine: NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams

“For drugstore I'd probably have to recommend NYX matte lip creams. They are very affordable, they come in a ton of shades, and they are very accessible with them being sold at Shoppers, Rexall and of course the new NYX store in the Rideau Centre.”

Kaitlin Heffernan: Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil

“This is the only eyeliner I use! It is super creamy and lasts perfectly through out the entire day! They are also incredibly affordable ($3) and come in a variety of shades! My favorite shade is number 3, Hot Chocolate, which is a rich chocolate brown. It is a little more natural than black eyeliner and compliments all eye colors!”
