The holidays seem to be one of the rare times when everyone’s multi-tasking skills are at an all-time high. If you’re one of those people falling into that category, then why not get some stylish ideas for your next Christmas event outfit, while sitting back and watching some of your favourite Christmas movies? Here is a list of some holiday classics that are guaranteed to give you some inspiration for the perfect Christmas outfit.

Nightmare Before Christmas

If your holiday plans are a bit on the formal side, Jack Skellington’s pinstripe suit just might be your next ideal Christmas outfit. If a suit seems like too much of a commitment, stick to the stripes with just a blazer, or even pants.

White Christmas

Nothing mimics the magic of Christmas like old Hollywood glam, and Rosemary Clooney playing Betty Haynes in White Christmas. Try the classic red lip look, and top it off with even more of the classic style with a black dress to add a sophisticated twist.

The Holiday

If you’re trying to stay away from pajamas without sacrificing your comfort, look to Kate Winslet in The Holiday. Her character effortlessly lives in long cardigans and knit sweaters, and so can you!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Now it may seem a bit out there to pick a movie with a literal green-eyed monster as your next style inspo, but just stay with me for a minute. Since Mr. Grinch isn’t exactly the trendiest character, we’ll stick to Cindy Lou for style inspiration. Her braid and bow combo solves any hair style dilemma, and trying out her classic patterned dresses will definitely top off the whole look.

If these classic films aren’t enough of a reason to get you cuddled up and binge-watching them back to back, then the gorgeous outfit inspo coming out of their characters definitely will!
