Musical, hard working and adventurous.
HC: Are you involved on campus?
Yes, I’m co-chair of PartiParty, which is a social and philanthropic committee under the SFUO and I am the events coordinator for the Sri Lankan student association (UOSLSA).
HC: What has been your worst date?
It was a coffee date with a guy who told me a lot of depressing stuff about his childhood. The conversation on the date felt very forced and non-directional. It was really awkward.
HC: What is your ideal date?
There are different types of ideal dates but one would be playing a sport at the beach, or grabbing ice cream and have a nice stroll together. Or a hot air balloon ride right before sunset.
HC: Who’s your celebrity crush?
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys from Game of Thrones) and Jesse Williams.
HC: What is your favourite food?
Chocolate above all. F*ck nutrition I love chocolate.
HC: Do you have any pets?
No, but I frequently dog sit the cutest dog in the world named Bear.
HC: What piece of advice would you give the uOttawa population?
Get involved in anything that interests you. That’s the best way you make new friends and you get to take part in a lot of different experiences. It opens up so many opportunities. Always keep your eyes and ears open for things going on around campus or in the city. It’s important to always be helping others but don’t forget to take care of yourself.
HC: What do you do during your free time?
I rarely have free time but when I do I’m always cooking and spending time with family and friends. And writing music.
HC: Do you play any instruments?
I taught myself piano and guitar. I can play alto saxophone, clarinet, and Glockenspiel.
HC: What is your dream job?
Doctors Without Borders.
HC: If someone gave you a million dollars what would you do with it?
I would buy my mom a cute little house somewhere warm and cozy for her, invest most of it and take my family on a big trip around the world.
HC: What is your pet peeve?
People that break promises.
HC: Favourite movie?
Little Miss Sunshine, The Lion King, and Saw.
