Name: Thomas Hislop
Grade: Sophomore
Major: Political Science
Activities: Delta Tau Delta Fraternity
Fun Fact: “I asked my high school librarian to prom, but she said no.“
Her Campus: How would you go about impressing a girl?
Thomas Hislop: First, I would show her my strength. Once that doesn’t work, I would deflect my failure with humor. I would then tell her that I have a meal plan and can totally take her to South Quad.
HC: What do you look for in a girl?
TH: I like girls who like to laugh, who have strong personalities, and who know how to dance ironically.
HC: Where would you want to take that special someone on a first date?
TH: I would want my first date with my special someone to be a day trip somewhere, because if you can’t tell me how to get somewhere via GPS, we aren’t going to last long.
HC: What advice would you give to a guy friend about getting a girl?
TH: Just be yourself around her. If that doesn’t work, she isn’t a good fit. Or you need a better haircut. Then you should go to the barber.
HC:Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
TH: I’ll probably be answering questions for a future Her Campus Campus Celebrity article. At my current rate, I think I’ll probably graduate in a dozen years or so, so I think I can get featured twice.
