Name: Henry Sholk
Hometown: Baltimore, MD
Year: 2016
Major: Business Administration
Her Campus: Where can you usually be found?
Henry Sholk: Playing football in front of my house with my roommates.
HC: What’s the best class you’ve ever taken?
HS: SOC 295. It was such a diverse group of people. We were learning about socioeconomic inequality. It was great to learn about a topic that affects so many people of which I didn’t really have knowledge of beforehand, to get to interact with different people from different parts of the US and the world. The professor was really funny also. Also, the class was with Nik Stauskas, so that was really fun as well.
HC: What’s your favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor?
HS: Definitely Mani Osteria. The pizza and the fried risotto — amazing.
HC: Feta bread or cheesy bread?
HS: Cheesy bread. With ranch.
HC: What’s something that’s still on your Michigan bucket list?
HS: Sneaking into the Big House at night after a game.
HC: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to your freshman self?
HS: Don’t worry about what others expect of you or what they think of you or the position of power you’re holding — just make sure you wake up every day being so happy that you’re a student on this campus.
