Meet Hani Elhor, a bubbly sophomore-to-be with a passion for creativity.

Major: Undecided

Hometown: Ann Arbor, MI

Relationship Status: Single

Her Campus: What are your hobbies?

Hani Elhor: I love photoshop retouching. I’m pretty amateur, but in my opinion, I can most definitely turn it out. I also design custom glitter cards for my brand, laCARD, so I guess you could say glitter in general is my hobby. I love to run, and I’m training for a half marathon this summer. I also take really good selfies, let’s be real (@hani_elhor on Instagram).

HC: Where do you see yourself after graduation?

HE: I hope to be established in some capacity. I would like to end up in the cosmetics industry, either working on the marketing and advertising side, or the cosmetic-sciences and product-development side. If those plans fall through, I’ll just become a princess.

HC: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.

HE: In situations where I’m feeling insecure, I can feel myself actively taking on the role of a pop star. It’s a defense mechanism I developed a few years ago. What would Britney do?

HC: What’s one piece of advice you have for collegiettes when it comes to dating?

HE: Be secure in yourself first. As the great RuPaul says, “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love someone else?” Look for validation and happiness in yourself, not in other people. Be independent, confident, and don’t make voodoo dolls of potential suitors (that never goes over well when they find out).
