A Sonnet to My Beloved, DuBois Library

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee from the LC to floor 26.

Where else would I want to spent my school days

than the tall tower with the falling bricks?

The Procrastination Station coffee,

Though not the best, is my study sesh fuel.

It keeps me from feeling like a zombie

And whining from exhaustion like a ghoul.

The Learning Commons is the perfect place

For doing work any day of the week,

Your egg chairs and ample studying space

Make the LC especially unique.

Your beauty is like no other in the zoo,

But, this sonnet must end. I have work to do.

Love Always,

Rachel

This sonnet is inspired by Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s “How Do I Love Thee (Sonnet 43)” [x]
