The Craziest Moments From ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All’ Special

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

The Bachelor‘s special episode, “The Women Tell All,” captures all of the drama and pettiness from a season by taking all the women and putting them in one room to talk about their relationships with the same guy — and this one might’ve been the craziest in Bachelor history. With Caroline possibly dropping the bomb on what Chris Harrison dubs the “most shocking finale of The Bachelor ever,” this “Women Tell All” special was full of crazy moments.

First off, Bekah, who was largely criticized for her and Arie’s 14-year age gap, totally owned Tia and all of her other haters. During the show, Tia had spoken to Arie about her fear that Bekah wasn’t ready for marriage which ultimately led to Arie sending Bekah home. Bekah told Tia how much this had hurt her, and gave one of the best arguments of the night. Krystal had shown she was very immature and didn’t have very good interpersonal or social skills, while Bekah demonstrated she had great conflict resolution skills, addressing every problem she had head on. Bekah pointed out that despite her behavior being more mature than Krystal’s, she was the one questioned about her readiness for marriage just because of her age.

Then, on the hot seat, Bekah addressed the whole ‘missing person scandal’ (someone on the internet found a missing person ad for Bekah that was issued last November by her mother, saying she believed Bekah was working on a marijuana farm), and Chris Harrison even gave her Mom a call. Bekah said that after Arie had sent her home she decided to go on a trip with some friends and didn’t have phone service to call her family, which is why they thought she was missing. And yes, she admitted she was indeed on a marijuana farm. Chris Harrison then called Bekah’s mother to make sure she knew where she was and even hinted she might be gone for two weeks in the summer. Will we see Bekah on Bachelor in Paradise? Bekah has the perfect personality for that, so maybe we’ll see her finally find love this summer!

As we could’ve expected — just like the whole season — the “Women Tell All” special was largely focused on Krystal. On the hot seat, we see a recap of Krystal’s time on The Bachelor. We see her first date with Arie, her comments about her being on a higher level than the other girls, her bowling date meltdown, and then some unaired footage. In the unaired footage, Krystal was in the bathroom and must have taken off her mic and thought no one could hear her. She makes a lot of strongly censor-worthy comments about Arie and all of the other women (as if Krystal already didn’t look bad enough, The Bachelor producers had to take one more jab at her). Krystal then defends her comments saying it was ‘in the heat of the moment’ and that she said it out of a place of hurt. Caroline then flips out on Krystal calling her a sociopath while almost in tears over her comments about the other women.

Next, my favorite moment of the night happened when one girl asked Krystal why her voice was so different now than it was on the show. On the show, Krystal was known for her high and annoying baby voice, while during the “Women Tell All” special her voice sounded completely normal. Then, Krystal does a very Krystal thing, and says that she had lost her voice…for her whole 6 weeks on the show. And then, if that wasn’t enough, Arie comes out and completely owns Krystal. Krystal tells Arie how hard it was for her to fight for his time and to know he was dating other women, and Arie claps back with “This is The Bachelor.” YES ARIE.

Finally, the most shocking moment of the night happened with Caroline. When Arie came out to and talk with the women he sent home, as if that wasn’t awkward enough, he was called out by a clearly very upset Caroline. Caroline says to Arie in a very distraught manner: “I know what you did and I can’t believe you could do that to someone.” WHAT. Chris Harrison did promise the most shocking finale ever, so I guess we will have to wait and find out next Monday what Arie did.

The finale will air on Monday and Tuesday, which is very unusual for the franchise to do. It is down to Becca K. and Lauren B. as Arie’s two finalists, so we will find out next week which woman has a possible proposal in her future!
