So Colliegettes, what comes to mind when you think of an adorable cat? I’m sure the last thing you would probably ever think of fitting in that category is a Sphynx cat, right? Sphynxes are a very unique breed, distinguishable by their complete lack of a fur coat. Now, these little creatures may look pretty terrifying if you’ve never seen them before, but there are hundreds of reasons why they’re absolutely adorable!
1.) Since they don’t have fur (and if it’s not always super warm in your house), keeping them warm can be pretty tough. What better way to do that than to dress them up in adorable little sweaters?
2.) Since they can get cold so easily, these cats absolutely love to cuddle with people. It’s common for a Sphynx to sleep close to you every night, and to snuggle under the blankets with you, no matter what time of year it is.
3.) If you have a Sphynx, you need to make sure to bathe them often (because they don’t have fur that can absorb any of the oils on them). Because of that, these cats actually like water. Some of them will even try to hop in the tub with you if you’re taking a bath.
4.) These cats have some of the nicest temperaments, too. Almost all of them are super outgoing, and love to meet new people and animals.
5.) Just look at those eyes!
All in all, the Sphynx is probably the strangest looking animal. Even so, they are one of the most loving and playful cats that are around. Anyone who has or had a Sphynx can vouch that even though they are really unique, these animals are one of the best pets that they’ve ever had!
