4 Cute Valentine’s Outfits No Matter Your Relationship Status

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Maine chapter.
Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Whether you’ve got a significant other, or you plan on spending the holiday with your single ladies, it really comes down to spending the day with someone you care about. It doesn’t hurt to wear a cute outfit, either. Here are 4 outfits ideas for different V-Day date scenarios.

Dinner & a Movie

A dinner and movie date is a classic for a reason. Who doesn’t love getting dressed up for a nice dinner and then snuggling up in a movie theater? If you’ve been looking for an excuse to bust out that pretty vintage dress in the back of your closet, look no further.

Wine Tasting

Is dinner and a movie a little “been there, done that” for you? If you’re 21+, why not take advantage and try something you never could before? A wine tasting is a way to feel cool and sophisticated, while getting to try fancy wine and cheese. A sexy, black slip dress is toned down when paired with a comfy flannel and black tights.

Cozy Night In

If a night out on the town isn’t your thing, then why force yourself to do it just because it’s a holiday? Throw on your snuggliest pajamas and throw on some Netflix… and chill? (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) Really make it the ultimate night in by ordering some awesome takeout.

Galentine’s Day Celebration

Valentine’s Day is all about love, whether or not you’ve got a partner! Spending some quality time with your besties for some Galentine’s Day fun is a great way to spend the day. You can dress up and take each other out on a nice date, or maybe indulge in a little pampering. Manis and pedis, anyone?
