Attention University of Iowa! This week’s Campus Cutie is none other than Jeneé Trujillo. From looking at the pictures displayed it is no surprise that Jeneé is our Hawkeye Campus Cutie. Jeneé, who is a sophomore, is majoring in health and human physiology on the pre-med track. She hopes to become an orthopedic surgeon one day.
Jeneé is from the south side of Chicago and has loved her time so far in the beautiful Iowa City. Besides being a true Hawkeye fan at heart, Jeneé loves football season and the hype over tailgating. She said, “I look forward to every Saturday and how the town comes alive for football. Tailgating is always so much fun with friends and especially when family comes to visit.”
Jeneé is also part of numerous organizations here at the University of Iowa. She was a Green Squad Leader for the “On Iowa!” program held at the beginning of the year for all incoming freshmen and transfer students. Not only was she a leader, but she was the recipient of the “Top Leader Award” out of the other 300 leaders in the whole program. She is also a member of the service frat, Alpha Phi Omega, whose main purpose to give back to the community of Iowa City.
Jeneé is also a fan of clothes and of course shopping! When I asked her how she described her style she said, “comfortable meets trendy.” You can always count on her looking cute, classy and stylish.
“I shop at pretty much any store but my main ones are Forever 21, H&M, Target and Sephora for all my makeup,” she told me.
Makeup is something that Jeneé takes a lot of pride in. She is always willing to do her friends make up on the weekends and one can always count on her to make you look great. Her outstanding personality, her great sense of style and her passion she has for being a Hawkeye are just a few reasons to name on why she is our Campus Cutie this week!
