As a Big 10 school, the University of Iowa is known for sports. With the new school year right around the corner, fall sports are quickly approaching. Here’s a quick overview about what to look out for over the next few months.

Football

After last season’s success, everybody is pumped for football games to begin again. With plenty of night games and fun tailgating, everyone is looking forward to Saturdays being taken over by football again.

Volleyball takes over Carver during the fall semester and for good reason. The team bumps, sets and spikes their way through every game and keeps the crowd excited.

Spirit Squad

Everybody loves watching the Spirit Squad perform at different sporting events around campus. They’re always successful at getting everybody pumped up, no matter what.

Field Hockey

Watching all the players work their hardest out on the field is a rewarding experience when your’e in the stands. Cheering on the field hockey team means supporting a great University of Iowa sport.

Soccer
