Almost every collegiette can relate to the universal struggle of walking into Victoria’s Secret just to look and leaving with an empty wallet. Especially during 7 for $27 season, the store is incredibly hard to resist. We all know PINK is not just a color, but a brand name that stands for all things soft and flirty. Many girls rock Victoria’s Secret on the daily, but did you know there are girls on your campus who are official PINK Campus Representatives? This week’s campus celeb is Kaylee Huber, a second year PINK Rep for the University of Iowa! Kaylee is starting her senior year as a Graphic Design, Art Management, and Art Education major. She is also minoring in Spanish. She is a member of Chi Omega and several honors societies, works at Hancher Box Office, and loves to sing when given the opportunity. I asked her some questions about herself and what it’s like to represent VS PINK as a Hawkeye.
How did you get started with PINK?
“I went to PINK events as a freshman and had such a good time! So, when I saw Iowa was looking for members for their Campus Team, I applied and worked with PINK as a volunteer. I applied for the Rep position for last year, and got offered the position again for my Senior year.”
What is your favorite part of working with PINK?
“I get to promote a brand that I love and feel strongly about. PINK is cute, flirty, and fun, just like your typical college girl. I love getting to share a brand that all kinds of girls across the campus identify with and love as well!”
What are the best experiences you have had as a rep?
“As a rep, we get to go to brand training at home office in Columbus, Ohio, and learn how to promote PINK at Iowa in the best way possible. It is so much fun because we get to meet girls from all across the country that share a common love for the brand.”
If you could only pick one PINK item from your closet to keep, what would it be?
“Hands down my yoga pants. I honestly wear a pair almost every day!”
What style advice would you give to other collegiates?
“My advice would be to rock whatever your individual style may be! As long as you own it, it and you are awesome!”
What is your favorite piece from the new PINK Hawkeye line?
“I just got the brand new Hawkeye raincoat at the store in Coral Ridge Mall, and I absolutely love it!”
If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
“I’m a Go-Getter! When I need something done I get it done and put 100% into it.”
What is one thing you’d like to cross off your bucketlist before graduating?
“I’d love to watch the sunrise from the Pentacrest!”
