The Best Quotes To Come Out Of The Movie Mean Girls

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Delaware chapter.

Mean Girls is a classic movie that came out in 2004. It captures Lindsay Lohan portraying a new student at North Shore High School after being home schooled for the majority of her life, as she had lived in Africa. Throughout the movie, Cady runs into the Plastics, who are a group of the most popular girls in school. There is the alpha Plastic, Regina George, and her two minions, Gretchen Wieners and Karen Smith. After watching this movie multiple times, I have compiled a list of the most iconic quotes from this movie and century.

1. “Is butter a carb?”

2. “So if you’re from Africa, why are you white?”

3.  “I am a mouse, duh.”

4. ”Boo, you whore.”

5. “I am not like a regular mom, I am a cool mom.”

6. “I can’t help that I’ve got a heavy flow and a wide-set vagina.”

7. “I want to lose three pounds.”

8. “We only carry sizes 1, 3 and 5. You can try Sears.”

9.  “On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was. ‘It’s October 3rd.’”

10.  “I don’t hate you because you’re fat. You’re fat because I hate you.”

11. “Regina George is not sweet! She’s a scum-sucking, road whore. She ruined my life!”

12. “Why should Caesar get to stomp around like a giant, while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? What’s so great about Caesar? Hmm? Brutus is just as cute as Caesar. Brutus is just as smart as Caesar. People totally like Brutus just as much as they like Caesar! And when did it become okay for one person to be the boss of everybody, huh? Because that’s not what Rome is about. We should totally just stab Caesar!”

13. “I’m such a good friend.”

14.  “None for Gretchen Wieners, bye.”

15. “She doesn’t even go here!…”

There are many more quotes that should be added to the list, but then that would be the entire script of the movie. You can decide your favorite.

*Fun fact, Tina Fey wrote the screenplay for the movie.
