This past Wednesday, April 15, the Violence Against Women Prevention Program (VAWPP), hosted Take Back the Night 2015. It was held in the Student Union Ballroom and is an annual event held each April that seeks to raise awareness about sexual and relationship violence affecting the members of our community and promote survivor empowerment and healing. Students marched through campus chanting with signs and candles. After, survivors shared their personal stories surrounding sexual and/or domestic violence.
