Wednesday night, Rosario Dawson took the stage at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. It was a Q&A event where she was asked about her personal life, her activism and her career. She inspired the students and faculty by talking about her involvement in the community and her efforts to contribute.
While Rosario Dawson is a very well-spoken and serious woman, she showed that she can also be fun and relaxed. She shared some jokes and showed the audience her favorite dance move. At the end of the event she socialized with all the students and faculty taking selfies, pictures, and learning how to whip.
It was great event to end the Hispanic Heritage month and evoke pride in the Latin community at UConn.
