What made you decide to join Mr. UConn? : I joined because the little girl Abby, who was one of the judges and her brother Matt. I became close with their family after doing Huskython last year and I’ve been in contact with them since then. I knew they were directly helped by the Make a Wish foundation. I helped set them up with the people running the event and they told me they really waned me to participate and I couldn’t let them down.
How would you describe the competition? : The event as a whole was a huge success. They made a ton of money for a great organization and all of us contestants had a great time together. It was a competition but we all left friends and were more happy to see the amount of money raised than to see who won.

Most memorable moment at UConn so far: Winning the men’s national championship last year
An ideal Friday night is spent: Sitting around a campfire with good friends talking and hanging out
