On Thursday April 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the ladies of Her Campus UConn gave students the chance to relieve some finals week stress through an empowerment event #IAmMoreThan.
The purpose was to write down something you’re worrying about or something that’s bringing you down to show that you are so much more than what is being reflected.
Many UConn students came over to tell us what they are more than: my student loans, my GPA, the sweatpants I wear during finals (I think we can all relate).
By the end of the day the event showed that we are all a little stressed about something, but being able to share it with fellow students and know that you’re not alone makes finals week a little more bearable.
