Gifts from TJ Maxx That Will Save Your Wallet this Holiday Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

I seriously do not know if I could survive without TJ Maxx. Whether I’m in need of a pair of dress shoes, a last minute outfit or even some cute home decor, TJ Maxx has never failed to have exactly what I need at a beyond reasonable price. So now, as we approach the end of the semester, when funds are critically low and the stress of getting all our friends and family gifts for the holidays is quickly rising, TJ Maxx is the solution we’re all looking for. Here’s a list of of some of the many things at TJ Maxx that will get all of your shopping out of the way and even leave you with money to get you through the rest of the year.

Bath Bomb: $6

Because everyone deserves some ultimate relaxation after this semester.

Sophisticated Chocolates: $10

Chocolate never fails.

Mugs: $4 – $5

There’s a mug out there for everyone, you just need to have the patience to sort through them all.

Contour: $6

People forget that not all of the good makeup needs to come from Sephora.

Makeup/Cleansing Wipes: $3 – $7

A luxury that not everyone has, but everyone can certainly enjoy.

Socks: $3 – $6

Heat is expensive – help your friends and family save money, too!

Dry Shampoo: $8

A miracle in a small, very portable container.

Wine Stoppers: $5

For those that love buying wine but forget they need to preserve the magic when they can’t finish the entire bottle.

Cute, Decorative Signs: $16

We could all use some inspiration.

Picture Frames: $5

A cute set of family pictures will bring any mother or grandmother to tears.

Sports Apparel: $20

Yes you can even find things for guys here, too!

UConn Apparel: $40

Because sometimes (almost always) the bookstore is just a little too expensive.

Happy shopping, collegiettes!
