The art of the Tinder bio as told by UConn students: Part II

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

If you’re a college student, chances are you’ve been exposed to Tinder one way or another. The online dating app is becoming increasingly popular among young people who are looking for hookups, relationships or new friends. However, you only have a few seconds to make an impression on someone before they swipe left. If you’re wondering whether people actually read your bio before swiping right, trust me, they do.  For some inspiration, here are some of the best Tinder bios submitted by UConn students.

Some are punny…

Some people use their fame…

Some use celebrities to appeal to Tinder users…

“Devout follower of Nicolas Cage.”

Some list their likes and dislikes…

Some list their pros and cons…

Some list other important information…

Some play to their strengths…

Some compile reviews…

Some use food to make a connection…

Some use their positivity…

Some appeal to a large audience…

Some are just bizarre…
