Razorbash 2015 at the University of Arkansas was an exciting time for all who attended, but especially for Olivia Orsak. It was on this special day that Olivia did something she claims never happens: she won a contest! Now, this wasn’t just any contest. It was the Her Campus Arkansas Giveaway contest!
Those of us that manned the table had the privilege of getting to know Olivia on a more personal level, so here is a bit about the lady of the hour:
Name: Olivia Orsak (duh!)
From: From Memphis, TN but she lived in Charlotte, NC for 9 years!
Major: Kinesiology/Pre-Occupational Therapy
Life Plans/Goals: Plans to graduate college and further her education by attending graduate school for 2 years to complete her Master’s. Then hopefully live in the beautiful city of Chicago!
And that is just the beginning of the marvelous Olivia! Now as stated above, Olivia won the Her Campus AR Razorbash Giveaway contest! This was done by her simply “Liking” the Her Campus AR Facebook page. From the moment she answered the phone, we could feel her excitement radiating through the phone.
First thoughts when you got the “Winner” call: My first thoughts were, “Well I must have done something right today… Because this never happens to me!” I was definitely super excited and in disbelief!
Did you think you would win when you “Liked” Her Campus AR on Facebook? I truthfully had a good feeling about entering to try and win the gift basket. The awesome lady behind the table told me that my chances were higher because I was only competing with those students that signed up that day compared to most raffles where you are competing with 500 to 1,000 other people!
Last, but by no means least, was Olivia satisfied with her Giveaway goodies? Yes!!
First thing used from the Giveaway basket: The pepper spray! Ironically, the one I used to carry broke that very morning and I wasn’t able to reattach it, so I put the new one on right away!
Favorite thing from the Giveaway basket: I recently moved into a new apartment so my favorite item(s) were the cute decorative picture frames!
