I am always looking for new products to try that are healthy for my skin. It is so hard to find products that are truly pure and chemical-free. During one of my searches, I came across a company called The Frosting Company. Not only was the name attractive, but the products look good enough to eat!
As I started looking more in to it, I came across the opportunity to be a ‘Frosting Belle’ which is a rep for the company. It’s a community of women who share the same passion for natural bath and beauty products. Brittany says that everyone in the program “has a zest for life, positive attitudes, and strong family/friend values. Gabrielle and Brittany (the lovely founders of the company) selected me in November last year to represent what I thought was just an awesome bath product company. I have learned that the company is so much more than that!
You see, Gabrielle Flank, was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2008. After 2 and a half years of fighting, she became completely cancer free. She wasn’t going to stop there though. Because of Gabrielle’s experience, the sisters became aware of all of the harsh chemicals that are in our bath and beauty products and wanted to create a line of products that they self safe using. They decided to start The Frosting Company on top of juggling school and her social life. Brittany says that this year is very exciting at The Frosting Company because they are prepping for their Fall launch. “All of the products being launched on September 1st so amazing and we can’t wait to share them with you!” However, they will also be retiring a few products that will only be available through August 31st! These include the Southern Peach and Chocolate Mousse body butter which are both amazing. The Passion Fruit Butterfly, Watermelon, and Southern Peach bath fizzie will also expire, so order them before they are gone!
Who did you look to for inspiration when forming the philosophy of The Frosting Company?
We admire people like Walt Disney for his innovation, Lily Pulitzer for her creativity, and Princess Diana for her philanthropy. The Frosting Company is about “Enriching Your Skin with Nature’s Sweetness.”
What is your favorite thing about thing about The Frosting Company?
I always refer to the quote “It is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.” I really enjoy working with my sister and meeting people who share the same passions. We bond over the love we have for Frosting Company products. We live on this amazing planet, why not use the resource that God has provided for us?
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is that everyone is embracing our company as much as we are.
