TUCP Presents: Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Posted Apr 16 2012 - 12:17pm

We may not need to fake sick to get out of school now that we’re in college, but it’s something that almost everyone has done at one point in their life. On Saturday April 28th, you can watch the master of fakery, Ferris Bueller, whose only real ailment is a bad case of senioritis.

In the film, Ferris and his friends spend a sunny school day traipsing around Chicago and narrowly escaping the clutches of their suspecting school principal, Mr. Rooney. They head to a baseball game, museum and Ferris even manages to sing on a parade float.

The 80’s teen movie will be shown free of charge in room 213 of the LBC and is open to the entire Tulane community. If you’re exhausted from a long day at Jazz fest or are overwhelmed with last minute schoolwork, head to the LBC with friends and popcorn to enjoy this timeless classic.
