The holiday season is all about the gift of giving. The feeling of awarding a loved one with a special gift is totally gratifying. Netflix has just come out with a statement stating the release of a flux of new movies and series to be added to their instant play queue. Not only will these releases boost the holiday cheer, but also they could not be arriving at a better time. After the infamous end-of-the-semester cramming for finals, our eyes need a break from the books, and our minds certainly need a hefty amount of mindless binging. So, without further adieu, I present you with this list of my “must-watch” shows and films to delve into this winter break…

American Horror Story: Coven
The third season in this unique trilogy follows the lives and adventures of young witches. Living up to its ancestors, this season is eerie and grotesque in the best way possible. Not to mention, it was all filmed in New Orleans… *represent*
Friends
The release of this series to Netflix is probably one of the biggest deals yet. Never before have we been able to effortlessly binge watch this coveted sitcom. Total game-changer. Get ready to ditch those ancient CD disks and gear up to indulge in countless hours of good-old Friends entertainment!
Movies:
Almost Famous
Personally, I couldn’t be more excited about the release of this film to the Netflix queue. This movie is one of my all-time favorites. The plot follows a hopefully teenage boy in his journey to become one of Rolling Stones next journalists. As the main character takes us on an adventure following a band on tour, you will surely experience some sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
American Beauty
Another one of my record favorites, this film is sexy, deceptive, and quite eerie all at the same time. This movie has a great plot twist, and a totally shocking ending you wont see coming. This film is a classic, so if you haven’t already seen it, make it a top priority on your list of must-watches.
The Wolf of Wall Street
One word, girls… Leo. Not only is this true story really interesting and entertaining to watch, but who wouldn’t want to see Leonardo DiCaprio looking gorgeous as ever on screen? He plays a shark-like businessman entangled in a web of fraud, women, and drugs who has us totally hooked the whole time!
