French Quarter Fest in NOLA

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

This past weekend the French Quarter Fest highlighted the usual good music and good food that can be found in downtown New Orleans.

Natives to the city along with many Tulane students flocked to booths set up in locations such as Jackson Square where they were able to buy small portions of food sold in restaurants around NOLA. Personally, I tried the Baked Alaska, I’d definitely recommend it–ice cream was perfect for this hot day. However, the girl here pigged out on pizza, another choice offered at the festival. Unfortunately, my camera wasn’t quick enough to capture her so photo credit has to be given to Ariel Roch!
