Yoga on the Quad

  Tulane University holds annual “Yoga on the Quad” Event for Living Beyond Breast Cancer Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible and with the best quality of life.  Through education and support programs, LBBC helps women to understand the complexities of breast cancer, explore alternative therapies and help them to realize they are not alone in the process.  LBBC provides grants for women to afford daily living expenses on top of costly cancer treatments, and survivor hotlines so that current patients can receive a personal answer to their questions or concerns. Snow Comes to Nola!

        Grab your waterproof gloves because the Science and Engineering Council of Students is bringing 20 tons of Snow to this semester's last Friday at the Quad. This is the only FAQ of the year at which you’ll be able to build snowmen and snow angels like you used to do back at home...or in your dreams if you grew up in the south.          To top off the fun, in normal FAQ fashion there will be tons of free food and live music from bands such as Sun Hotel and Caddywhompus. Various student organizations will also have tables at the event so you can get to know them before the spring semester rolls around. Just like previous years, Snow Day is the last day of classes so come out and unleash your inner child before you have to be an adult and buckle down for...

Free Thanksgiving Noms on Campus!

  Think you need to head back home in order to eat delicious Thanksgiving food? Think Again! The Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office for International Students & Scholars are teaming up once again to bring their annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner to the Tulane community. The event is completely free of charge though you may want to bring your own food dish to share. If you don’t have access to a kitchen, don’t worry about bringing anything as plenty of food will be provided by Olive Blue Catering. The dinner will take place in rooms 212-213 of the LBC and attendees are asked to RSVP by Monday, November 19th if they intend to be there. This can be done via e-mail....

2013 Sorority Recruitment Kicks off with Preview Day!

Can’t wait until January to get a firsthand look at Tulane’s sororities? Then wait no more because this year, the Panhellenic Council is holding a preview day in the LBC for any girl interested in going Greek. The event will start with an info session in rooms 212-213 in which potential new members will learn exactly how the recruitment process works followed by a visit to each sorority house. Each house will provide information about what their particular sorority has to offer and a mock round of recruitment events will help potential new members get a feel of what’s in store for them in January. 3rd Annual New Orleans on Tap

Lol with ImprovE Comedy

ImprovE Comedy is Tulane’s first and only sketch comedy group and it’s comprised of a couple of hilarious students who wrote and will perform all the sketches.
