Definitive Ranking of Places to Eat on Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

1. La Divina

Because of the delicious food and late hours, La Divina took the spot as number one. Read my past article on La Divina to learn more about the paninis, gelato, and pizza.

2. Hillel

Hillel is known for its healthy food and is definitely good if you’re trying to stray away from the Freshman 15. Hillel has great breakfast and lunch options, ranging from classic Jewish items such as matzah ball soup to delicious falafel and hummus and avocado sandwiches.

3. Crepes a la Cart

Crepes a la Cart would be number one if it weren’t for the long lines, the fact that crepes are very sloppy, and the fact that most people don’t eat crepes unless its Friday at 2 A.M. These crepes always hit the spot and can always satisfy you whether you’re craving something sweet or savory.

4. Le Gourmet

Most sophomores say that the majority of their meal plan is spent at Le Gourmet. Le Gourmet has great sandwiches and salads as well as fruit and yogurt, but is notorious for being overpriced.

5. Boot Pizza

Boot pizza makes you look at pizza in a way that you never have before. On a Saturday at 3 A.M. Boot pizza is the only thing keeping you going. Although it sucks waiting in line, Boot pizza has some of the best drunk pizza you’ll ever have along with great burgers, sandwiches, and of course, cheese fries.

6. Luff

Luff is definitely a more upscale version of Bruff with more options. Read more about Luff here

7. City Diner

When you need food but don’t have the energy to walk to the Boot, City Diner can often satisfy your drunk needs. Like many students say, “It wasn’t a bad night if you’re ending it at City Diner.”

8. Bruff

We all knew Bruff would be last. While Bruff sometimes offers great dishes, overall Bruff is your typical college dining hall that most likely will leave you hungry or nauseous.
