Music to Get You Through Finals

By Samantha Rosen
December 16, 2012 - 9:51am

Can you believe it’s the end of the semester already!? I feel like it was only a few weeks ago that we were evacuating from Hurricane Isaac, sweating to class in the 100-degree heat, and looking over our syllabuses for the first time. But before we can pack up again for winter break, there’s a little something standing in our way: finals. Don’t freak! By Nina Helfman
November 27, 2012 - 1:56am

Grab your waterproof gloves because the Science and Engineering Council of Students is bringing 20 tons of Snow to this semester's last Friday at the Quad. This is the only FAQ of the year at which you’ll be able to build snowmen and snow angels like you used to do back at home...or in your dreams if you grew up in the south.          To top off the fun, in normal FAQ fashion there will be tons of free food and live music from bands such as Sun Hotel and Caddywhompus. Various student organizations will also have tables at the event so you can get to know them before the spring semester rolls around. Just like previous years, Snow Day is the last day of classes so come out and unleash your inner child before you have to be an adult and buckle down...
