“Thanksgiving is an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year. And then discover once a year is way too often.” – Johhny Carson

That may not be the case for everyone and, for some people, Thanksgiving is the best holiday of the year. No matter how you feel about Turkey Day, here are ten treats with easy recipes for you to make this holiday something at least your stomach looks forward to.

1. Apple Pie Bites: As you are making your way from family member to family member, this is an easy way to carry around a favorite Thanksgiving treat.

2. Cranberry and Apple Cider Sorbet: If you are looking for a more refreshing dessert, this fruity, seasonal sorbet could be your answer. You don’t even need an ice cream maker!

3. Chocolate-Glazed Pumpkin Cookies: In the wise words of the cookie monster, “Me want cookie!”

4. Chocolate-Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars: If you’re looking to turn a classic dessert into a Thanksgiving Day treat, this dessert is for you.
