www.dinwithtlin.blogspot.comEver find yourself staring at the menu, wondering what to order? This guide to brunch success uses your mood and personality to help determine what you should order!Acai Bowl – Girl, you are probably wearing some sort of workout clothing; I’m betting on Lululemon or Athleta. The acai bowl is for the collegiette who follows fitness Instagrams, prefers a nice pressed juice to a chocolate milkshake, and/or just wants a light and delicious breakfast after an intense hot vinyasa yoga class.

Chicken and Waffles – This classic southern brunch/breakfast item is for the more adventurous collegiettes who enjoys a savory-sweet dish and is looking for a more filling brunch.

Crêpe – Classic, delicious, and Instagram worthy — what more could a girl want? A collegiette who orders the crêpe can expect to start her day on the lighter side. Sweet or savory, you can never go wrong! My personal favorite is the lemon-sugar crêpe. Mmmmm!

Eggs Benedict – This show-stopping American dish has been filling tummies since the 40’s. The english muffin, topped with Canadian ham, two poached eggs, and creamy hollandaise sauce is a very safe option for those who can’t decide what to order; restaurants rarely mess this up. I love the smoked salmon benny, on which lox replaces ham.  Fruit and Greek Yogurt (or parfait) – This one’s for the collegiette who can’t stomach the thought of real food in the morning. Whether you order this combo as an appetizer or as a main dish, it will leave you feeling energized and ready for the day ahead.

Salad + Protein – For those on the go, this solid choice will keep you full until dinner. My favorite brunch salad is the kale salad with grilled chicken and cranberries.
