Boston’s November Music Scene

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tufts chapter.

It’s November now, which means it’s time to put away your Halloweekend costumes, and put on your concert attire for the music scene around Boston! All Collegiettes love a good show, so while you’re sitting around waiting for Thanksgiving, why not blow off some steam? Head out into town with some friends for some cheap, live music!

11.18.14 – Alt-J and Mikky Ekko

Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA @ 8 PM

The song, “Breezeblocks,” is a favorite of ours and Alt-J has just released a new album. This show will be amazing if you’re looking for some indie-rock with great vocals.

11.18.14 – Timeflies and Kap Slap

House of Blues, Boston, MA @ 7 PM

Timeflies is an attractive music duo combining EDM with hip-hop and pop music. You’ve probably heard about them BECAUSE THEY GRADUATED FROM TUFTS.

11.25.14 – A$AP Ferg and YG

House of Blues, Boston, MA @ 7 PM

A$AP Ferg is a hip-hop recording artist from New York City. I’m sure you’ll remember his hit single, “Shabba,” as it became popular last year and was played in every venue across the nation.

11.28.14 – Dillon Francis, Trippy Turtle, and Hoodboi

House of Blues, Boston, MA @ 7 PM

American music producer and DJ, Dillon Francis, always puts on a good show. For only $39, this is a show you and your friends will want to see.
