Hair:

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can be a miracle worker on dry hair (especially curly or kinky hair, which is naturally more dry than any other type.)  Leave the oil in overnight or wrap your hair in a towel while the oil sits and blast it with your blow drier to heat it up.  The oil protects new growth, adds shine, and makes hair stronger.

Deep Conditioner

It’s highly recommended that a deep conditioner is used on hair at least once a week.  It not only adds moisture back to the hair, but it’s almost like a break from the heat and torture we put our hair through.  If you’re looking for a less expensive option, any of Garnier’s leave in conditioners do the trick, but if you’re looking for something more ~fancy~ the Living Proof’s Restore Mask Treatment is top notch.

Skin:

Steam Facial

Okay so you might look insane while doing this, but honestly this thing works.  Boil some water and pour it into a bowl that is about the size of your face. Sit down and grab a towel.  Lean over and hover your face just above the boiling water and put the towel over your head.  It’s like your own personal steam room.  Sit for ten minutes.  I usually shower afterwards (because, sweat) but your skin will be baby smooth.  Also, for an added bonus, I drop a could drops of Lavender infused oil or soap to relax me.  This is also a great thing to do if your sinuses are really stuffed up as it opens your airways.

Dry Brush

If you don’t know what dry brushing is, it’s kind of exactly how it sounds.  You take a brittle brush, kind of similar what you’d use to scrub your fingernails or foot, and you brush your skin.  The idea is to brush towards your heart, starting from your feet; brush the legs upwards, the arms inwards, etc., and this will exfoliate the skin.  Don’t use any body wash or scrub with an exfoliant in addition to dry brushing — you don’t want to over-exfoliate the skin.  Also, do this while standing in a shower since the dead skin will fall off your body and you can just wash it down the drain.  After doing this the first couple of times, you really start to see results.  (Bonus: Some people say they’ve seen dry brushing reduce cellulite.)

Eye Depuff

For depuffing eyes and reducing redness, caffeinated tea is the way to go.  The caffeine brings life back to the skin.  Soak two bags of tea (preferably green tea) in a cup of warm water for a few minutes, then put in the fridge (the coldness is what reduces redness and swollenness) also for a few minutes.  Then take them out and lay them on top of your eyes for five minutes and viola!
