10 Steps to Getting a Summer Job

Summer is coming and if you don’t have the perfect summer job already lined up you have probably started the search for a summer job.

1. You start by searching on the Internet…

2. It takes hours to find a job that you can do.

3. When you find a job that means you have to fix your resume.

4. Which means trying to make it look like you have experience and relevant skills.

5.  You may even have to write a cover letter.

6.  Your friends say they have jobs and you haven’t even finished applying.

7. Your parents keep asking if you have a summer job.

8.  You finally finish and sumbit your application…now you are just waiting for the employer to contact you.

9. They finally get back to you…

10. …and hopefully your misery is over and you finally have a summer job!
