Volunteer With Barbara Littlejohn

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.
Most people jumpstart their first year at a University by taking some easy intro courses, joining an org or two, and partying. Hard. But Barbara Littlejohn is all but common.

This wonderful young lady is currently double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy and a member of Phi Lambda. In the spring, Barbara will be participating in UTeach, a program at UT helping to advance education.

Barbara is also an active member of the Red Cross Club. The Red Cross Club at UT does many service projects throughout each year, both for the Red Cross and separate from it. The RCC hosts blood drives and does mass CPR training on campus.

In addition to volunteering at places like Pease Park and other Austin runs, the RCC hosts fundraisers to help those who have been affected by natural disasters. The group also comes together to do social stuff such as playing frisbee, eating, and kayaking.

Barbara’s volunteer work has gone above and beyond. What starts here changes the world.
