It’s apparent that we are all proud to be Longhorns. But with summer vacation coming up, we can’t help but count down the days until we can lay out in the sun all day and do nothing. By Kenyatta Giddings
April 30, 2013 - 3:56pm

Here's a little Austin history: Sixth Street was orginally named Pecan Street in honor of the Texas tree. Enjoy everything this free festival has to offer from arts and crafts, food vendors (hello, food trucks!), and over 60 local and national music acts.    Photo:  http://estevato.com/wp-content... By Erin Duncan
April 29, 2013 - 7:08pm

On Tuesday April 16, you may have noticed an entertaining sight as you passed by Gregory plaza. People were in rain ponchos and were having pies smashed in their faces…voluntarily! However, these people endured having pies to the face for a good cause. Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Health Honors Society hosted a Pie-A-President fundraiser where presidents of various organizations volunteered to be pied to gather proceeds for the Dell Children’s Surgical Global Outreach Program. This program is aimed to bring surgical care to underserved children in other countries. Kelsey Stewart, a UT junior, was a huge part in planning and putting together the event. READ MORE

Who needs Alexander Wang and Victoria Beckham when up-and-coming trendsetters are strutting across the Forty Acres? (But if Mr. Wang and Mrs. Beckham wanted to offer their fashion advice, we would totally take it!) READ MORE
