Midriff Top
Crop tops are starting to be seen everywhere – casually and for going out at night. Showing a little skin between your bottoms and your top has been all the rage for college women. Whether they have patterns on them or just a solid color with a simple word printed on the front or if they are long sleeves or tanks, crop tops are making a name for themselves on the 40 acres and in Austin as a whole. Tip: They are the perfect tops to wear on these Texas heated days.
High-Waisteds
What’s a cute crop top without a dependable pair of high-waisteds? What type of high-waisteds you ask? Any type – skirts, jeans, pants and shorts. These were once on the list of must-haves for all collegiettes, and they have made the list again. Tip: Buy old high-waisted jeans from thrift stores around town and cut them into shorts. You can style them anyway you want; one of a kind high-waisted shorts are always better than ones everyone already has.
Denim
Denim shirts and vests are starting to be seen around campus. Even denim on denim is becoming more acceptable; just don’t pull a Britney and Justin when going out with friends. Tip: Torn up jeans are starting to make their way back into our lives this year.
