5 Things Every Traveler Needs This Holiday Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

Traveling can be stressful, especially during the holiday season. Travelers have to endure packed airports, delayed flights, and lots of road traffic. To make this season a little less stressful, and more enjoyable, here’s a list of things you may need.

  1. Portable Charger

Portable chargers are very convenient any time, but when you’re traveling by air, it’s good to have a charger you can use on the plane. Since the new downloading feature on the Netflix app has come out, it has been even easier to watch tv and movies on an airplane, but that can use up a lot of battery life, so it is handy to have a portable charger to charge your phone with. Let the binge watching continue!

2. The Best Neck Pillow Ever

This neck pillow is loved by travelers everywhere. It makes sleeping on a plane 10x more comfortable than it used to be. This pillow supports the neck up higher than most neck pillows do, making the cricks in your neck a thing of the past. You can buy it here: https://trtltravel.com/

3. Packing Cubes

Packing cubes are a genius way of packing a carry-on. They can be used to organize everything you wish to pack; clothes, toiletries, electronics, etc. They can also greatly compact your packing, so where you would normally check a bag, these cubes can help you pack everything into a carry-on.

4. Heated Car Blanket

Traveling by car is not usually considered to be comfortable, but with this blanket, you can stay warm and cozy during your entire journey. Just plug it into the 12 volt round receptacle in your car, and you’re good to go! Buy this one from Walmart!

5. Carry On Luggage

An important part of having a good time traveling, is feeling good. That’s easy when you have cute luggage! There are lots of good luggage choices out there, but a good place to get luggage that is not too expensive is Target. They have lots of cute but also practical options, for a pretty good price. You can find this one on their website.
