Your Must Have Winter Workout Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

During this dreary winter weather it is almost impossible to find the motivation to workout. From wind chills to dry skin, it’s easy for this season to put you in a slump. But have no fear! Here are ten workout songs that are bound to get you up and moving in a heartbeat!

First on the list is Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. This song is a total retro hit and will without a doubt get you grooving. Its upbeat vibes and strong vocals will allow your body to get pumped up.

Next on the list is I Don’t F**k With You by Big Sean. This is the ultimate song to listen to when trying to push yourself to the limit. Mad at your ex? Turn on this song and work that elliptical!

For you country lovers out there (because who doesn’t love at least some country?!) I have two songs that are sure to keep you motivated. The first is Florida Georgia Line’s This is How We Roll. This song keeps you energized and puts you in a great mood.

The second song is Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert’s Somethin Bad. This song has a rebellious vibe and a great beat! Without a doubt, this song will provide you with enough confidence and sass to totally dominate that workout!

Whether it is for cardio or dance, All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor is a must have song on your workout playlist. It is entirely full of upbeat and energetic vibes. It is almost impossible to not get pumped up while listening to this song.

The sixth song you need to have on your playlist is Chandelier by Sia. It is the most perfect song for an early run through the city.  It’s also an easy song to move to for those Zumba or Pilates classes!

Another great song to dance to is Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. This song screams girl power and will fill you up with enough confidence to complete that difficult workout out or dance routine!

So you hit the treadmill and you notice that the person next to you is doing double your speed. So, you amp your speed so you can try and match up and epically fail? Just put on Happy by Pharrell and don’t stress out. You will get to that level one day and you will look good doing it!

Timber by Pitbull and Kesha is another upbeat song to have on your playlist. Its club vibe will keep you hype, even when you’re too tired to feel your legs.

Lastly, you must add Taylor Swift’s Blank Space to your playlist! T-Swift always has that power to bring out your inner confidence and motivate you entirely!

With all of these songs on your workout playlist, you will be unstoppable this winter.
