Take a look!

Name: Thomas Green

Major: Theatre/Acting Concentration

Year: Senior

Relationship Status: Single and Ready to Graduate
What do you look for in a companion: “A lot of people think I am cocky when I say this but I like people who are kind of like me. Just outgoing people who are always busy, just average people. I feel like I am pretty humble and modest. You know how you date someone and they don’t have a life of their own? So, they are always hitting you up and they are always in their face and you can’t breathe? Yea, so I want someone who has a life of their own. And is educated. And financially stable.” [Laughs]

What is Your Dream Date:

“I hate dates honestly. First dates are always so awkward. My ideal date wouldprobably will be meeting at a bar and getting completely smacked. (Can I say that?) We would go back to our apartment and look in each others’ eyes. They say that the eyes are the windows to your soul and you know how alcohol makes you completely vunerable. So, we would just look into each other’s eyes—no talking—just looking into each other’s eyes so that we could look into each other’s soul.”

On Campus Activities: Babel (Temple’s First Poetry Collective), Main Campus Program Board; he is trying to start a minority theater troupe

If you could be any Nickelodean character, who would you be? “I would want to be Timmy Turner because he had those fairy god-parents and my life would be so much easier. I would not have to go through any of this. I could just wish it and be Mr. Temple.”

What is your best quality?: “I am very welcoming and I am an easy person to come to.”

What would it mean for you to be Mr. Temple? “I think Mr. Temple kind of has the role of being a rolemodel on campus for all students. He is hard-working, able to get along with everybody and a leader. I think a whole bunch of things make up Mr. Temple and I have those things.”

If someone could play you in a movie, who would it be? “Brendan Frazier.”

If you could be a Disney character who would it be? “Hercules because he is the man and he learns lessons through his adventures. He has been my favorite Disney character since I was ten years old and I have always looked up to him.”

What is your dream date: “Either go to a concert or go hiking to a mountaintop with her.”

What would it mean to him to be Mr. Temple: “It would be an encouragement for me. I have been here in the United States for one year and I am not really familiar with everything in this country but if I am Mr. Temple, I am pretty confident that I will be used to everything.”

Name: Reyald Suvil

Ideal Lady: “She has to be goal-oriented. She has to be respectful. I like somebody that I can take into public and when I am with them I feel proud and I feel confident. Not just to have a beautiful girl on my arm but someone that can speak to people and that I can bring her around my family.

As far as physical beauty, I think all girls are beautiful but I do not like to discriminate. You can find beauty in each and every one but I do like thick girls. Thick girls preferably.”

Dream Date: “I think a woman should be treated like a flower. Wine and dine and anything that includes a night out on the town, going out to eat and having a night cap afterwards. (His version of a night-cap: Re-capturing the night.”

On Campus-Activities: Resident Assistant for two years; Serves on RA Advisory Board; Event Planner for the Haitian Student Organization; TSG Representative for HSO; and Committee Member for Student Activity Fairs for Temple Student Government

If you could be any Disney character, who would it be and why?: “It would definitely be Mickey because who doesn’t love Mickey?”

What would it mean to you to be Mr. Temple?:” It would be an honor because being that it is my fourth year here at Temple, I have grown to love Temple. I always have this funny analogy that I like to use; I say that Temple and I are in a relationship. They first year was a little rocky but we worked it out and now, we are completely and madly with each other. Being Mr. Temple would be an honor to represent not just what I have worked so hard to accomplish but representing the student body, representing Temple Made. I think Mr. Temple needs that. I will be Temple Made.”

Year: Freshmen

Hometown: Mullica Hill, NJ

Relationship Status: Single and Ready to Mingle

What He Looks for in a Girl: “Personality. I want someone who is easy-going and easy to talk to. “

Ideal Date: “It would be different. It wouldn’t be the movies or anything. It would be a sporting event because I wouldn’t mind [being] with a girl who is interested in sports. We could talk about the game and eat afterwards. I am not the type of guy to go to the movies because I like to talk. I’m social.”

If you could be a Disney character, who would it be and why? “Aladdin because he is the man. He goes around without a care in the world and he is always out there helping people. I like to do that; I like to help out people. And then, he gets the beautiful Jasmine at the end, which I wouldn’t mind either. Aladdin would be my guy.”

On-Campus Activities: Helps film for a Temple sport show; wants to start broadcasing in the future

What would it mean for you to be Mr. Temple?: “It would mean a lot. I am coming here as a freshmen and I would like to walk around campus and have people know who I am. I am not trying to be conceited or anything but I’d just like to walk around and talk to people and get to know them better. “

Name: Alec Hooper

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: San Francisco, California

Relationship Status: “Singelly Complicated”

Ideal Date: “On a beach with a dope ass dinner with some drinks. And a bonfire. That would be dope. And some calamari.” [Laughs]

On-Campus Activities: Spring 12′ Neyo Psi Sigma Psi Multicultural Fraternity, Inc; Asocion de Estudiantes Latinos; TUPAC (Temple University Phillipine American Council); National Council of Negro Women

If you could be any Disney character, who would it be? “I would be Stich because he is blue, he chills in Hawaii on the beaches, he is from space and he is cool. He has a friend and says ‘Ohana means family.’ That is so cute. [Laughs]

Ideal Girl: Lilo. [From Lilo and Stich]. She is a ride or die. [Laughs] No, just someone I can rely on. And who is cool and pretty.

What would it mean for him to win Mr. Temple?: “A representation for a group of individuals who aren’t represented well-like the Latinos on campus. Until one of the ADEL (Asocion de Estudiantes Latinos) events, I could count all of the [Latinos on campus] on my hands. When I think of Temple University, I think of diversity and that is why I came here. But across student activities and students, things are seen openly and I do not see a large Latino population. I would be that other side of what diversity is for Temple University.”

Be there on Friday, October 26th in the Student Center Underground at 6:00 p.m for Mr. Temple! It’s about to go down!
