Meet Our Bachelors: Seth Horvath

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

This semester, Her Campus Temple is teaming up with Alpha Xi Delta to host a date auction. We’ve done it in the past, but this year is different. Temple hottest bachelors, including fraternity men, athletes and Owl Team leaders are up for a date with the highest bidders. Until the auction starts, we’re going to be giving you brief profiles on each of the contestants, so you can get to know more about them.

All of the money raised will go directly to Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Delta’s national philanthropy!

Name: Seth Horvath
Age: 19 (4, I was born on Leap Day)
Major: Biochemistry, Minoring in Psychology and Healthcare Risk Management
Year: Sophomore

Why should someone bid on you in the Win-a-Date Auction? I’m a very diverse person with a lot of interests. I like to think that I’m fun and different. I’m a good person to get to know because I’m very easy going and I can hold decent conversations.

Describe your ideal dream date if you HAD to stay on Temple’s campus: I think ordering food (doesn’t matter what kind), and finding some kind of roof to get up on would be really cool. We’d eat facing the city and just getting to know one another. Then, time permitting, see a movie or some other kind of supplement to the date. I really like exploring and having fun but limiting this to campus make this a little difficult.

What was the worst date you have ever been on? I really haven’t been on any dates in some time. I was in a long term relationship that recently ended. Everything that I can remember has run smoothly. An example of a bad date may be someone who isn’t talkative. Really awkward interactions. Ended conversations with short answers. Anything like that. However, being quiet isn’t a bad thing as long as you progressively open up.
