The "Real Deal" On FoodBy May 15, 2013 - 7:30am While most of us grab fast food before heading to a class to avoid the ever embarrassing stomach growl in a quiet lecture setting, we don’t stop to think whether our meal is doing any good for our bodies. But how are we expected to decipher the healthy from the unhealthy options when we have so many other school related woes on our plates? To solve all this good vs. bad food ordeal, I spoke with Julie Rhule, a Registered Dietitian on campus and asked her what her best recommendations for healthy food options are. READ MORE |

Affordable Workout GearBy April 26, 2013 - 12:06pm Around the end of March and the beginning of April there are two words I see everywhere: bikini body. From magazines giving tips to lose that winter weight in 12 weeks, to my friends shopping for new bathing suits, it seems like I can’t escape those two words. Don't get me wrong, after months of cold weather I wouldn’t mind pulling out my bikini’s and hitting the beach. "You Da One that I dream about all day"By April 22, 2013 - 1:20pm Is there such thing as “the one?” Everyone throws around this idea of “the one.” Who are we kidding? For most of us the 90s are only memories that are replayed in our minds every time our parents post old baby photos on Facebook. While looking at those photos not only will you see that your parents had you dressed to impress, but also that the corduroys you sported at age two have reappeared in your closet at 19. With the announcement that filming for Girl Meets World has officially started, it’s only right to honor the 90s with some of the best fashion comebacks. Let’s admit it, some of the greatest fashion trends started in the good ol' 90s. The Crop Top READ MORE... |

Fashion Dilemma...is it REALLY Spring yet?By April 19, 2013 - 12:36pm In high school there were two ways I knew it was officially Spring. The first way was when all the classrooms started to become hot and unbearable. Since I went to a school with uniforms, spring was in the air when all my friends hiked up their skirts. I know it's Spring at Temple when people start to flock to Beury Beach and there’s not a coat in sight. Although we had some very warm days, it doesn't feel completely like Spring recently. READ MORE |
