5 Must Visit Food Trucks at Temple

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

Jamaican D’s: This Caribbean food haven has been my absolute favorite and most dependable food truck since my sophomore year. No need to have any Caribbean blood flowing through your veins to find the happiest home in their $10 platters that can last for days (thanks to the generosity of the owner and cook). Even a simple side of rice and beans is extremely satisfactory and blissfully inexpensive.

Every single Halal truck: Honestly, I don’t think I need to explain why the halal trucks are a staple of college campus food trucks. Meat, rice, a beverage and a warm greeting from some of the friendliest food truck owners all for five dollars. Bye Student Center. (Greetings and smiles are entirely free at the halal truck in front of the Founder’s Garden).

Sexy Green Truck: With everything from coffee to pancakes to gyros, this truck is a must visit (how can you not with that alluring name). Located right outside of the Student Center, Sexy Green Truck is there when you’re craving…pretty much anything. But given their popularity, the wait can be rather long so it’s best to use their call ahead option.

Mexican Grill Stand: This truck once began serving only Halal food to the disappointment of my Mexican food cravings. Fortunately, these scrumptious burritos have made a graceful return near the Founder’s Garden.

The Creperie: It’s not a Temple fave food truck list without mention of the Creperie. Consistently buzzed about by Temple students, this truck has always been available to satisfy your sweet tooth and hunger at the same damn time. It’s so popular, it has over 1,500 likes on its Facebook page. I’d strongly suggest any item containing Nutella.
