This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

As finals begin and the spring semester comes to a close, summer feels as if it is at our fingertips. Summer is obviously a season full of fun and sunshine, but it is also when some of our favorite artists decide to go on tour. Yes, this means that concert season is upon us and this time, we are in for some special treats. Here are just some of the concerts that are coming to our area this summer that I’m already hyped for:

1. Future with Migos, Tory Lanez, and Kodak Black

When: Friday, May 12th

Where: BB&T Pavilion

Future famously dropped two albums in the span of two weeks, and will perform these bangers on tour this summer.

2. Fifth Harmony

When: Friday, May 26th

Where: The Mann Center for the Performing Arts

The band will perform hits from their album 7/27 in their first tour since Camila Cabello decided to leave the band in December. The concert will be a perfect place to let loose with your friends.

3. The 1975

When: Thursday, June 1st

Where: Madison Square Garden

The band is heading to New York City to sing our favorite songs from their newest album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, and their hits from their previous albums. Madison Square Garden is an iconic venue and I am sure that this concert will leave the audience speechless.

4. Florida Georgia Line with Nelly and Chris Lane

When: Saturday, June 17th

Florida Georgia Line always knows how to put on a good show, and this summer they are coming back to the area for another concert. This country duo is sure to excite the crowd and sing all the songs we know and love.

5. Ed Sheeran

When: Tuesday, July 11th and Wednesday, July 12th

Where: Wells Fargo Center

Following the release of his newest album, ÷ (Divide), Sheeran will be visiting our city in mid-July to play new songs from his album, as well as some old hits. The visuals that accompany Sheeran on stage are usually very intricate and unique and I am excited to see what they will look like on this tour.

6. Zac Brown Band

When: Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th

Where: BB&T Pavilion

This concert is always a summer classic, and this year will be no different. Zac Brown Band will perform on both the 14th and 15th of July at the BB&T Pavilion, and each is sure to be a night full of good music. This will be a popular concert to go to this summer for people of any and every age.

With his new album, DAMN., exploding on the charts, Lamar is set to tour his newest tracks this summer.
