The air is cooler, the drinks are warmer, and the holidays are fast approaching. With all the rush that this time of year brings, it can be hard to decide just how to spice up your living area. Here are some ideas for easy ways to get your dorm in the holiday spirit:

1. Door decorations: you could hang up a cute sign, a wreath, or cover the door in wrapping paper.

2. Hang festive lights around your bed or across your walls.

3. Give your room a cozy Christmas scent with air fresheners and fragrance oils.

4. Decorate a mini Christmas tree with your roomie, and tuck it in a cozy corner or set it on a desk.

5. Hang up stockings or Santa hats on the end of your bedframes

6. Put a cute snow globe on your desk to distract you from the avalanche of approaching exams

7. Hang jingle bells on your doorknob to announce your love for Christmas with every entrance

8. Stick holiday gel clings on your windows-cheap, easy, and no artistic skill required

Happy decorating!
