The Daily Show with Trevor Noah (Comedy Central)

Taking over the show from John Stewart, Trevor Noah is a well-known comedian around the world, but not so much here in the United States. A lot is expected from him to uphold the popular status that John Stewart has created, and we hope he does.

Scream Queens (Fox)

Full of famous young celebrities, this new thriller-killer-comedy has had a lot of hype on social media. After the first episode aired, it is clear that it is a Ryan Murphy production. If you like Glee or American Horror Story, you will like this.

Grandfathered (Fox)

For all those 90’s kids out there, this cast is your dream. John Stamos (remember Uncle Jesse?) and Josh Peck (yes, the Josh from Drake & Josh) star together when Stamos finds out that he is actually Peck’s father.

The Wiz Live! (NBC)

With well-known actors like Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Uzo Aduba, Common and Ne-Yo, this holiday special is sure to be a feature to look forward to.

Returning Shows

Gotham (Fox)

In this popular take on the classic story of Batman, expect new characters like “The Joker” and “Mr. Freeze”. Best of yet, character backstories will be much more developed in this new season!

Empire (Fox)

This Emmy nominated show is gaining popularity and guest stars. Look out for celebrities like Chris Rock and Alicia Keys.

AHS: Hotel (FX)

This critically acclaimed show is known for its steady cast, but this season the biggest curveball will be the absence of Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy. But in their place is famous musician Lady Gaga who plays the owner of the hotel.

Walking Dead (AMC)

One of the most anticipated returning shows of the fall is this zombie thriller. Lennie James will be returning to the show in addition to newcomers Merritt Wever, Ethan Embry, and Corey Hawkins.
