Movies To Watch On A Rainy Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

I don’t know about you, but when it’s cold, dreary, and rainy outside, I just want to put on a comfy sweatshirt, wrap myself up in blankets, and watch some of my favorite movies. So, here are a few movies to put on your bucket list for the next time you’re chilling at home on a gloomy day.

A Cinderella Story

I don’t care how old I am, this movie has always been and will be a classic, because if you weren’t a Hilary Duff fan in 2005, you’re definitely lying.

Mean Girls

Once again, this movie is a classic. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, it just never gets old. Enough said.

Easy A

Emma Stone rocked her role in this movie, and it’s just too funny to pass up. To this day, this is still one of my all-time favorite movies.

The Princess Diaries

The story is too surreal. Could you imagine being told one day that you’re a princess and you’re going to have to rule a whole country? I can’t, but it sounds awesome and a tad scary.

17 Again

I’m sorry, but if Zac Efron doesn’t convince you to a watch a movie all on his own, you’re doing life wrong, my friend.

Of course, there are so many movies you could choose from, so the next time that rainy day rolls around, keep these titles on the back of your mind… You won’t regret it.
