Katy Perry’s INDI Perfume

Katy Perry has had a busy year.  From dropping her new album to judging the reboot of American Idol, she hasn’t slowed down.  Last year, she also released her perfume, INDI.  

The inspiration behind the name of this perfume is to promote diversity and being an individual.  The slogan is “Different Together” and Perry hopes this fragrance can celebrate people’s differences. The top notes in INDI are White Tea, Oriental Plum, Italian Bergamot. Perry also says the perfume can be worn by men and women.

“Everyone has their own individual stories to tell and I think we should just embrace the uniqueness of everyone together,” said Perry in a Glamour interview last August. 

Victoria is a senior at The College of New Jersey and a features editor for HCTCNJ.  She is majoring in Journalism and Professional Writing, and minoring in Marketing & Communications.   
Kyra Mackesy graduated The College of New Jersey with a BA in Journalism and Professional Writing and a minor in Criminology in 2019. While at TCNJ, she was an active member of their Her Campus chapter, holding a wide array of positions: President and Campus Correspondent, Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editor, Marketing and Publicity Director, and Social Media Manager. She loved seeing her chapter grow throughout her four years in college, and will remain an active Her Campus Alumni.
