Dan Nguyen '12
As finals week comes to an end, brains are fried and stress levels are running high. Relax, collegiettes™! Her Campus TCNJ is here, equipped with some eye candy to take your mind off exams. Daydream away about this week's Campus Cutie, Dan Nguyen! When this Bio major isn't GEL'n (Gym-Eik-Library), you might find him hanging out in Alumni Grove or listening to Chris Brown. With summer days away, make sure you keep an eye out for this Campus Cutie -- we can't think of a better way to procrastinate.
Name: Dan Nguyen
Year: Junior
Age: 21
Major: Biology
Hometown: Warren, New Jersey
Hobbies on Campus: Intramural Basketball, Making weird Facebook videos, and of course Gym-Eickhoff-Library (GEL'n)
Hobbies off campus: Skiing, Going to the beach, Lounging all day just chillin' in my Snuggie
Favorite place on campus: Alumni Grove when the weather is nice and everyone is hanging out.
Favorite thing about TCNJ: The friendly atmosphere of the school and how everyone knows one anothe
r.
Best/favorite way to spend a Saturday: Sleeping in late, watching TV, hitting the gym and then just relaxing with my friends or family.
Favorite Actress: Jennifer Aniston
Favorite movie: Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Favorite band/musician: Chris Brown and Skrillex
What's an ideal first date? Anywhere my date and I can feel comfortable and be ourselves because that makes it easier to get to know one another. Something casual like the movies or just hanging out and being goofy is enough for me. Going to a fancy restaurant where my main concern is "I hope I don't spill sauce on my shirt" instead of listening to my date is meaningless.
Pet peeves or weird habits? A pet peeve would definitely be when everyone in line at Eickhoff is waiting for chicken but only hamburgers are flying off the grill and placed on the counter. I also don't like when people wear socks with toe-thong flip flops.
Three words that describe you: Passionate, Funny, Extroverted
Plans for the future: I hope to go to medical school after TCNJ and fulfill my dreams of becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon as well as owning my own Sports Facility and Rehabilitation Center.
Why did you choose TCNJ? It is really convenient to go home whenever I want and it is great academically for my major.
