Christmas Bucket List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

1. Go to a Live Nativity with a bunch of your friends, (Or participate in one!)– Live nativities are really an amazing experience to see or be a part of, they are a good way to get involved in your community and get Christmas spirit up!

2. Host a Christmas Cookie Baking Party – Invite a bunch of your friends over and bake up your favorite cookies from scratch while listening to Christmas music! Then, enjoy some of each kind together and serve hot cocoa and talk! Have everyone take a container of cookies home to enjoy later.

3. Take a ride to look at Christmas Lights- Drive around your neighborhood or look up public light displays; grab your best friends and heat up your hot cocoa or coffee and jump in the car.

4. Volunteer at a Homeless Shelter or Soup Kitchen– Spend your time off to help the homeless, sick, or shelter animals. Not only will you be using your time in a great way, but also you’ll be making a difference in the lives of others!

5. Watch Christmas Movies– A lot of major channels have Christmas movies on almost every night in December. These cold nights are the perfect time to snuggle up with friends and family on the couch to watch holiday favorites like Rudolph, The Santa Clause, Home Alone, Elf, The Polar Express and so many more. Just grab some popcorn and you’re all set!

6. Make and send your own Holiday and Christmas cards– Get your crafty side on and create your own holiday cards to send out to your friends and family! With ideas from Pinterest and other craft websites. You can make them on your own or with your friends! Get ideas from this video
